County Stables is a small friendly yard where the horses receive individual attention in relaxed surroundings. Pride is taken in keeping horses happy while achieving peak fitness. The facilities are excellent inclusive of a one mile uphill all weather gallop, use of the Old Lewes Racecourse, and beautiful countryside for riding out over the Lewes Downs. The stables themselves are light and airy with many horses having a great view from their boxes.

County Stables is easily accessible from London and the Home Counties – within easy reach of many high class racecourses.

The trainer, Miss Suzy Smith, has achieved great success from a small string of horses including a Royal Ascot winner, Listed and big handicap winners and two seconds at the Cheltenham Festival.  Also a highly regarded trainer of mares - she trains for many owner/breeders.
