Meet the Team
	Sergio Gordon-Watson: Assistant Trainer ‘Serge’ comes from a family steeped in racing history. His first involvement was with point to pointers. He then started riding out for various trainers ten years ago and has never looked back since. He met Suzy while he was working at Di Grissell's as Suzy worked for Di's husband Gardie. From there they spent the summer working in racing in France where Serge worked for Madame Criquette-head, and Nicolas Clemont. Serge then came back to England and took up a post as Assistant Trainer to Anna Newton-Smith where she enjoyed her best ever season, he then joined Suzy when she had enough horses to train. Serge still enjoys his pointing, hunting and football and occasionally a ride or two under rules. He does most of the schooling and enjoys getting the youngsters jumping.

	Colin Bolger: Jockey Colin comes in and rides out regularly for us to get to know the horses. He is a great asset to the yard and is an intelligent rider who is very strong in a finish. Colin also follows instructions! We have had a lot of success together.

	Giovanni Rapisarda Gio joined us last year from the British Racing School. He was previously attached to Gary Moore. Gio is also working towards his NVQ3 and would like to become a jockey in a few years time.

	Stephen Gascoyne Stephen is a great asset to the yard. He has ridden on the flat and has been in racing for many years. He is a very good rider and is a natural around horses. He turns out his horses beautifully at the races and also does some of the schooling at home.

	Jai de Souza - Carrington Jai has had a great deal of experience with horses. He has had his own transport business, worked for point to point trainer Di Grissell and also in racing. He is a qualified riding instructor and has a lot of experience in showing. He is a cheerful member of the team, rides well and also does much of the clipping.

	Lurch: The Lucky Mascot Lurch enjoys keeping the gallops rabbit hole free and always comes racing. He also enjoys Lurcher racing where he has had one win and one 4th.

	Trixie: Companion to Lurch Trixie has been watching and learning from Lurch and acts as a rabbit catching assistant.
